Oakleaf Records, founded in 1971, was the first to make these rare and often suppressed recordings available to American collectors. Over the years others have attempted, without success, to imitate our pioneering efforts. Note: These Oakleaf CDs were all made from the original audio cassettes. Apparently, the studio sometimes treated each "side" - as opposed to each "song" - as a "track", resulting in only two tracks, even though all the songs are present.

#OAK-CD-101-01 SS Marches and War Songs. Volume One. The Oakleaf Collection presents original recordings, all from ultra-rare 78 rpm discs from the 1930’s through the end of World War Two. These are no "modern" fake renditions or Hollywood re-creations! Here are SS Men and SS Bands performing their marches and battle songs, and you will hear them exactly the way they were meant to be heard—with that unmistakable force, drive, spirit and enthusiasm that only these authentic recorded documents can impart! This CD includes: 1. Badenweiler Marsch; 2. Flamme Empor! (Flame, Arise!); 3. Marsch der Leibstandarte (March of Hitler’s Bodyguard); 4. Treue um Treue (Loyalty for Loyalty); 5. Märkische Heide (Mark-Brandenburg Heath); 6. Schlesier Lied (Song of Silesia); 7. Reiht euch ein! (Fall in!); 8. Flieg deutsche Fahne, flieg (Fly, German Flag, Fly); 9. #OAK-CD-102-01 Luftwaffe Marches. Volume One. The Luftwaffe—literally "air weapon"—was the newest and most technically advanced of German military units. Created in 1935, it could not, as the other service branches, draw from a long tradition of march compositions and songs. However, creative minds and hands soon went to work, and an excellent assortment of modern campaign songs and marches was composed to honor these Knights of the Sky and their heroic deeds. The Paratrooper divisions, under overall command of the Luftwaffe, were given their own song, "Rot scheint die Sonne" ("Red Shines the Sun"), contained on cut 8. Additionally, cuts 2 and 3 contain the official songs of the Legion Kondor, the all-volunteer Luftwaffe contingent sent to assist Gen. Franco in fighting the International Communist hordes then destroying peaceful, Christian Spain. This CD includes: 1. Prinz Max Brigade; 2. Bombenflieger Marsch; 3. Revere Marsch; 4. Militärsignal Marsch; 5. Flieger Empor!; 6. Flieger sind Sieger; 7. Graf Zeppelin Marsch; 8. Rot scheint die Sonne; 9. Lied der Junkers Flug- und Motorenwerke; 10. Es blitzen die stählernen Schwingen; 11. Hermann Göring Marsch; 12. Stuka Lied. $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-102-02 Luftwaffe Marches. Volume Two. This CD is a continuation of the history of the Third Reich’s Luftwaffe marches and battle songs. It includes some rare and unusual pieces attributed to the NSFK (National Socialist Flyers Corps), the "free ballooning" groups [technically under command of the Luftwaffe], the Paratroop divisions ("Fallschirmjager" on cut 8), and even the song of Germany’s civilian air carrier, "Lufthansa Marsch." All material is from original recordings of the era, faithfully transcribed to CD format. This CD includes: 1. Flieger Fanfare; 2. Jagdgeschwader ‘Richthofen’; 3. Bruno Loerzer; 4. Luftsport voran; 5. Lied der Ballioniere; 6. JU-88 Lied; 7. Jagdgeschwafer ’Immelman’; 8. Fallschirmjäger; 9. Fliegerkameraden; 10. Bomben auf Engelland; 11. Aufwärts zur Sonne; 12. Fliegersturm; 13. Fliegermarsch; 14. Lufthansa Marsch. $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-103-01 Marsch Musik, Non-Stop. This is a collection of longer instrumental German march compositions, all recorded by the great German bands of the 1930’s, and transcribed from rare studio discs. The CD opens with a lengthy "performance" piece by the renown Grosses Blas-Orchester, led by the great Carl Woitschach, then Director of Music at the old Telefunken electronics firm. This is followed by a very unusual and wonderful rendition of Prussian compositions performed by the Berlin Philharmonic. Then, a short piece, possibly the oldest recording of a German march in existence, a very rare disc, cut by Berlin’s Garde-Kurassier Regiment in 1898! As finale, the marching-out of Berlin’s Guard Battalion, complete with barked commands and thundering percussion for added effect. And, as well all know and understand, they just don’t play these venerable old pieces the way they used to! This CD includes: 1. Historisches Marsch-Potpourri; 2. Friederich der Grosse Marschsammlung (Berlin Philharmonika); 3. Grosser Zapfenstreich (3./Preussischer Nachrichten-Abteilung); 4. Fehrbelliner Reitermarsch (Garde-Kürassier Regt./Berlin); 5. Aufziehen der Schlosswache (Wachbataillon/Berlin). $20.00 plus shipping/handling.  Add this item to shopping cart

#OAK-CD-201-01 Charles Lindbergh Addresses the Nation. He was America’s aviation hero, first to fly the Atlantic solo, in 1927. Col. Charles A. Lindbergh was also the leading voice of America’s non-intervention movement in the years immediately before World War Two. As spokesman for the America First Committee, Lindbergh went before the radio microphone to urge common sense and honest political behavior by America’s leaders as war was being planned against the new Europe by International bankers and Soviet Communist barbarians. Here are four addresses made directly to the American people: two short talks from studio recordings; a "remote" recording of an open-air rally in Chicago; an "on location" recording of the huge rally at New York City’s famed Madison Square Garden, packed to capacity, when 22,000 came to honor and applaud him. This CD contains the following four addresses: 1. Radio Address, October 13, 1939: "Neutrality and War"; 2. Speech at America First Rally, Soldier Field, Chicago, August 4, 1940: "Our Relationship with Europe"; 3. Radio Address, October 14, 1940; 4. America First Rally, Madison Square Garden, New York City, May 23, 1941. $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-202-01 Father Coughlin is on the Air! Known as the "Radio Priest," Fr. Charles Coughlin was the uncontested spokesman for the Populist movement in Depression-torn America during the 1930’s. Every Sunday afternoon, the national combined radio networks carried his speeches to over 40 million homes, giving hope and encouragement to the unemployed, the dispossessed, the neglected, and all those conveniently "forgotten" by FDR’s "New Deal" System. (In a country with a total population of only 135 millions, this was by far the largest percentage of listeners in the history of all media, an achievement never surpassed, even to this day.) … And now, from original primary sources (rare studio discs) we present two typical programs: first, "Twenty Years Ago Today" - Complete Radio Broadcast of April 4, 1937 and second, "Relief that Fails to Relieve" - Complete Radio Broadcast of April 11, 1937. $20.00 plus shipping/handling. #OAK-CD-203-01 Mosley Speaks. Sir Oswald Mosley, founder and leader of Britain’s BUF (British Union of Fascists) Blackshirts, had a long and colorful career as one of the leading thinkers, writers, orators and street activists in Europe during the 1930’s. Highborn to Britain’s elite class, his social conscience and Fascist world-view brought him to the side of the nation’s working families and those millions of good citizens made impoverished by the worldwide Depression of the 1930’s. Imprisoned for the duration of World War Two, Sir Oswald, released into the drab post-War British scene, again joined the political fray, with varying degrees of success. This CD contains the recording that was made at the Kensington [London] Town Hall, November 18, 1963. It was an address to several hundred of his BUF stalwarts and Old Fighters. Still in strong oratorical form, Sir Oswald never lost his ability to clearly define the issues and bring his audience to hearty approval and spirited applause. His was truly "The voice they could not silence." $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-200-903 Special Offer: Set of All Three Above ANGLO-AMERICAN SPEAKERS CDs only $50.00. Plus shipping/handling. (This set includes Charles Lindbergh Addresses the Nation, Father Coughlin is on the Air! and Mosley Speaks). Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-301-01 Songs of the Romanian Iron Guard. The Iron Guard, more formally known as the "Legion of Michael the Archangel," was founded by Corneliu Codreanu as a defense organization against rampant Communist subversion and revolution in Romania in the 1930’s. Largely a group of university students, the Iron Guard soon grew to embody patriotic elements from all walks of life. In 1938, on orders from reactionary and jealous Conservative government officials, Codreanu and several of his comrades were placed under arrest, taken to a forest and murdered. Their martyrdom lives to this day and the fame of their Legionary deeds will live forever. This CD includes: 1. Hymn of the Legionary Youth; 2. Workers to Arms; 3. Hymn to Mota and Marin; 4. Legionary Victory Hymn; 5. Stefan Ruler of Moldavia; 6. Hymn of the Szeklar Romanians; 7. Hymn of Legionary Youth (2nd version). $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-302-01 Il Duce! Songs of Italian Fascism 1922-1943. Nothing is closer to the Italian heart than music, the more melodic and expressive the better. And so it was during the Fascist era. The Oakleaf Collection presents this overview of military and political songs, all from rare, original 78 rpm discs produced by the Fascist regime, 1922-1943. Also included are the songs of the various youth and student organizations, written and promoted to build civilian morale and codify the Spirit of the Age. This CD includes: 1. Fanfare. TO ARMS! 2. SONG OF VICTORY; 3. HYMN TO ROME; 4. Mussolini speech excerpt; 5. MEDITERRANEAN SONG; 6. DAUGHTERS OF THE WOLF; 7. ITALIAN GIRLS; 8. BALILLA; 9. YOUNG FASCISTS; 10. #OAK-CD-401-01 British Military Marches. Besides Germany, Britain has the largest and most impressive collection of military band marches, refined over the centuries into a vast catalogue of worthy compositions befitting almost any official occasion or ceremony. Unfortunately, many of the most interesting pieces are hardly ever performed today. We have rescued many of the older and best traditional marches from rare 78 rpm discs, and present them on this newly re-mastered CD. All were originally recorded from the mid-1930’s to approximately 1947 by several military and civilian bands. This CD includes: 1. Punjab March (Payne); 2. Middy March (Alford); 3. Old Panama (Alford); 4. Sons of the Brave (Bidgood); 5. Prairie Flower (Hume); 6. Turkish Patrol (Michaells); 7. Colonel Bogey (Alford); 8. Great Little Army (Alford); 9. Bond of Friendship (Rogan); 10. Standard of St. George (Alford); 11. Linwood March (Hume); 12. The Wee MacGregor (H.G. Amers). $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.

#OAK-CD-402-01 Songs and Marches of the French Foreign Legion. Foreign Legion! Various nations have had "foreign legions" throughout the centuries, but the phrase "foreign legion" really means only one particular legion—the FRENCH Foreign Legion, this Legion of great renown, of great literary fame, of superlative training and elan, and of even greater mystique! The recordings on this CD are not "re-creations" from some Hollywood film or idiotic TV drama. This is the real thing—recorded on location at a Legion caserne--the men of the Legion singing and marching to the powerful, slow-cadence of Legion bands, as called for by Legion tradition. This CD includes: 1. REFRAIN DE LA LEGION; 2. LE SALUT DU CAID; 3. LA LEGION MARCHE; 4. LE CHANT DU REGIMENT ENTRANGER DE CAVALERIE; 5. LA LEGENDE DES BRESLES; 6. MARCHE DE LA LEGION ENTRANGER; 7. LE CRIQUET; 8. FIGUID; 9. LES CHANTS LEGIONNAIRES. $20.00 plus shipping/handling. Add this item to shopping cart.
