Besides Germany, Britain has the largest and most impressive collection of military band marches, refined over the centuries into a vast catalogue of worthy compositions befitting almost any official occasion or ceremony. Unfortunately, many of the most interesting pieces are hardly ever performed today. We have rescued many of the older and best traditional marches from rare 78 rpm discs, and present them on this newly re-mastered CD.
